Wellknown Tamil Film Actress Rekha Maruthiraj (Monika) converted to Islam. 26 years old actress new name will be M.G Rahimiya. Indian Newspaper "Times of India" has written that after A.R Rehman & Youdan Shankar Raja now Rekha Maruthiraj (Monika) join the Karawan who join Islam. She has acted in more than 70 movies in Tamil, Hindi and Tilgu. Monica Parents are christians. Monika decided not to work anymore in Movies after Converted to Islam.She has started her career from Movie "Awasara Police 100" as a Child Star. In a press conference she told that her acceptance of Islam is not due to Love and wealth but the Ideology of Islam which inspired her to accept islam. She told that she begin reading Islam in 2010. Before reading islam like other people she thought that islam is religion of terror but after reading islam she knows that Islam is the Religion of Peace. She also told in press conferrence that She will soon announce her marriage ceremony. She also publish her picture in Abaya to the media.
